Minimum Stay Requirement:
Packages are available with a minimum stay of 30 nights, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
Advance Booking:
Bookings must be made at least 30 days in advance to ensure proper villa preparation, wellness customization, and support services.
Deposit & Payment Terms:
A 25% deposit is required to confirm the booking.
Full payment is due 14 days before arrival.
Payment plans may be available for extended stays of 3 months or more (on request).
Pricing Inclusions:
Unless otherwise specified, package prices include:
Accommodation in a private villa or suite
Daily meals (custom wellness cuisine)
Housekeeping & concierge services
Access to scheduled wellness sessions (yoga, massage, meditation)
Local transportation for essential travel and excursions
Travel buddy & emergency support
Cancellation Terms:
Cancellations made 21 days or more before check-in are eligible for a full refund minus administrative fees (USD 150).
Cancellations made within 14–20 days: 50% refund.
No refunds for cancellations within 13 days of check-in, unless due to emergency (at company’s discretion).
Money-Back Guarantee:
If, within the first 7 nights, the guest feels that the experience does not match the promised standards, a pro-rata refund will be arranged (excluding non-refundable setup and administrative costs).
Guests must notify our team in writing within the first 7 days.
Refunds are processed within 14 business days.
Occupancy:
Rates are based on single or double occupancy. Extra guests must be declared in advance and may incur additional charges.
Pets & Assistance Animals:
Not all properties are pet-friendly. Please inform us during booking if you require a pet-friendly space or are traveling with a service animal.
Health & Medical Needs:
We provide access to local healthcare providers, emergency assistance, and wellness professionals.
Guests are responsible for their own health insurance and any additional medical costs incurred.
Pre-existing medical conditions must be disclosed prior to arrival.
Wellness & Dining Plans:
Meal plans are designed with your dietary preferences in mind. Special therapeutic or allergy-sensitive diets can be arranged with prior notice.
Service Staff:
All villas include maids, caretakers, and access to a travel buddy or local assistant. Requests for female-only staff or specialized staff (nurse, physiotherapist, etc.) should be made at booking.
Cultural & Recreational Excursions:
Cultural outings, nature retreats, and sight-seeing trips are subject to weather conditions and availability, and may be modified without prior notice.
Property Substitution:
In rare cases, if the selected property becomes unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances, an equivalent or upgraded property will be provided at no extra charge.
Behavioral Conduct:
We reserve the right to terminate the stay without refund in cases of serious misconduct, damage to property, or disruption to local communities or staff.
Force Majeure:
Royal Ceylon Retreats is not liable for delays, cancellations, or disruptions due to natural disasters, pandemics, travel bans, or political unrest.
